Welcome to Talent Unseen!

Talent Unseen is a blog created to share the journeys, advice, and experiences of various startup founders around the world.

In this edition of Talent Unseen, I am excited to share the journey of Varun Anand, the co-founder of EduHubSpot, who, like many of us, came to the United States as a student with huge dreams. With his passion and determination, he built a successful multimillion-dollar firm, EduHubSpot, which offers top-notch training to aspiring project management professionals (PMPs).

EduHubSpot’s Story: A Tale of Educational Innovation

Varun said, “I always believe that teaching others helps us learn it better. It was passed down to me from my father, a retired Indian mathematics professor.”

After completing his bachelor’s in computer science, Varun discovered that project management was his passion. He had PMP certification during his master’s program. After that, he applied for internships, and since he is PMP certified, the recruiters gave his profile more weight.

EduHubSpot was created as a result of this observation and his realization of how much he loved teaching; it fueled the certification dreams of thousands of individuals and helped them achieve their goals in PMP certifications.

Breaking every chain: A journey of determination

Varun expressed, “I gave away my time to teach PMP to a lot of people . Money is not his first priority.” He did not confine himself to the classes taught in his master’s program. He expanded his skillset, which made him climb one more step in the journey to turn dreams into reality.

Without expecting anything in return, he equipped himself with an irreplaceable skillset and increased his passion. I will never forget how bravely he faced the fraudulent company, despite the work that he accepted.

A company offered him a job as a PMP trainer; he faced the situation and went to launch the company with Chirag, his co-founder, in the creation of EduHubSpot.

Together to the Top: How Friendship Built a Millionaire

“Being my roommate, Chirag Shah added fuel to my passion,” Varun stated. He also stated, “He assisted me with the technical aspects of building the website. He always helps me with wise decisions and calms me down.”

It would not be easy if Chirag was not on the boat of purpose with Varun, which uplifted and inspired him to create a successful business. A new life unfolded after years of holding on to the idea of teaching PMP courses.

Collaborative Strength: How the team expanded success

Varun shared, “I hired a trainer to teach PMP because I missed my favorite cricket after I started teaching PMP. I closely analyzed their strengths and carefully positioned them in different roles.”

Varun sacrificed many hours of sleep and hired trainers, and today their business has grown to 40 team members who have improved EduHubSpot.

They provide a variety of bootcamps that have been approved by PMI to teach PMP. Weekend and weekday batches are available that support individuals in excelling and becoming PMPs.

Virtual Evolution: How COVID-19 Transformed EduHubSpot

As the pandemic hit, everyone started shifting to online classes, which paved their path. They transferred their knowledge on PMP so easily, expanded stronger, and thrived from the time the pandemic hit the world.

Many people lost their jobs during the pandemic. EduHubSpot hired skilled professionals passionate about teaching. This helped lay the groundwork for its successful expansion.

Above the Rest: Unique Strengths of EduHubSpot

Varun highlighted, “The strengths of EduHubSpot are its unique storytelling technique.” He used day-to-day examples and used the approach of the no-books technique. He did not follow the traditional way of flipping the books and used this tactic to attract many people to EduHubSpot.

He also shared that the main strength is the “story-telling technique to train PMP with no books involved and no memorization required.”

From Interest to Expertise: The Value of PMP Certification

When asked about the vision of EduHubSpot, Varun’s words were “world dominance.” The world map that serves as the company’s logo illustrates the value that it offers to society.

This clearly shows that EduHubSpot will exchange your passion for a PMP. I note that they have plenty of certifications to transfer the knowledge to all the professionals who look up to them.

Advice to Entrepreneurs: Empowering the Next Generation

      • Determine whether the market needs the specific product you wish to launch.

      • Figure out the need and produce a simple version of the solution to the problem.

      • Never ever give up, especially in the face of obstacles.

      • The most inspiring words are “Your life will be hit by challenges; learn from the challenges and move on to the next challenge.”

One word about your startup journey: Hard work
One word about your product: Quality

Learnings from the Varun Anand conversation:

In this section, I discuss my ideas from our talk with Varun with the other students. My favorite quote from Varun Anand is “Money spent on education will never go waste.” So don’t listen to people who pull your leg into the same lake where they are drowning. Go after your goals, gain more knowledge, and acquire that extra degree or skill.

Stay tuned as we continue to uncover more stories from diverse startup founders. Until the next edition of the Talent Unseen blog, keep striving for your dreams and exploring the endless possibilities that await.
